Maruti Suzuki Targets One Million Green Vehicle Sales by FY27

Maruti Suzuki has set a goal to sell one million green vehicles in the financial year 2027. The company recently debuted its new S-CNG range as part of this strategy, aiming to meet the demands of environmentally conscious customers, a company official said.

The company’s current production capacity stands at 18,000 units per month. Banerjee, a company representative, said that as production capacity is ramped up, Maruti Suzuki expects to unlock higher volumes. He added that new-age customers refuse to compromise and seek running-cost benefits without giving up automatic convenience. "If we get the supplies, we are very hopeful," he said.
