Mourinho Shares Printed Images of Red Card Incidents After Derby Loss

Jose Mourinho revealed printed images of red card incidents to the media after his team’s second defeat of the season. The loss came in a derby match described as intense by Atletico’s coach Diego Simeone, who praised his players’ performance.

Mourinho said he would limit himself to hugging his players, who gave their all and showed great class and character in the first half, setting the team up perfectly for the second half. He expressed a good feeling in not being disappointed with his players despite the defeat.

He acknowledged the refereeing decisions, stating he wanted to believe they were simply mistakes, just as coaches and players make errors. Mourinho emphasized his respect for everyone involved and noted the privileged position coaches hold under public scrutiny.

Simeone described the derby as an intense match and praised his players’ commitment and performance, particularly in the first half. Mourinho added that under normal circumstances, the match was controlled by his team at all times.

This defeat follows an earlier 1-0 loss to Real Betis in September, marking Mourinho’s second loss of the season.
